    YIN YOGA

    ‘Rest at The Nest.’ This floor based class is gentle and embraces a slower pace.

    A fusion of Yin and Restorative poses are held for between 5-10 minutes, allowing your body and mind to deeply rest, release and restore.

    Props, blankets and cushions are available to support and cocoon you.

    Gentle touch is used to soften the body further and work with the subtle energy body.

    This class comes with a warning; you will relax!

    KATIE’S COMMUNITY CLASS

  • MONDAY 6-7PM

    HATHA FLOW WITH HELENA

    This is a vinyasa-inspired yoga class, combining held asana (postures) with flowing sequences of movement, timed with breath.

    Classes focus on correct and safe alignment in postures, calming breathwork, energising flow sequences, meditation, relaxation and a hint of yoga philosophy.

    This class is suitable for beginners to intermediate experience, however, a level of fitness is required as movement between poses can at times be fast.

    HATHA YOGA WITH SEB

    This class is filled with traditional yogic practices that help strengthen the body, focus the mind and bring balance to the whole system.  It is a class inspired by the Sivananda tradition of yoga that focuses on supporting and maintaining the longevity of the spine. 

    You can expect to move with the breath, find deep release with held postures and focus on alignment to help support correct posture.

    Deep breathwork and meditation feature in this class.

    VINYASA YOGA - FAST

    This is a fun, fast and fiery class inspired by the Ashtanga tradition of yoga.

    Standing poses are held for time and sequenced with fast paces vinyasas.

    CANDLE LIT YOGA

    Candle light sets a soothing ambient for this relaxing yoga class.

    Gentle movement and breathwork will support you in slowing down, unwinding and finding balance after a busy day.

    Expect standing and seated asana (poses), balances and breathwork.

    Suitable for beginners and regulars.

    FOUNDATIONS OF YOGA

    Join Seb in The Nest Saturday mornings for Foundations of Yoga, 8.30-9.30am.

    Suitable for everyone, including the absolute beginner.

    These classes are designed with great care and consideration for those that wish to break down postures, focusing on specific alignment and why each pose is beneficial.

    This could also be the foundations of energetics; why we breathe, how we breathe and why it’s important.

    Foundations of Yoga will always include breathwork, meditation, movement and physical postures.
